Eric Heuver

Owner & Co-Founder

Eric graduated from Nova Scotia Agriculture College in 1989 with a BSc in Agriculture and is a Landscape Journeyman. After working 10 years in his family business, Eric purchased the Turf Division from Eagle Lake Nurseries in 1998. The business has evolved from the Turf Farm to Eagle Lake Professional Landscape Supply.

Mark Janzen

General Manager

A local boy, Mark brings nearly twenty years of landscape experience in the Calgary area to the Eagle Lake team. In 2005 he received his Journeyman Landscape Horticulturalist ticket, and has filled various industry roles including construction foreman, site superintendent, landscape design, estimation and sales.

Tyler Walker

Turf Farm Manager

Tyler grew up on a family farm in southern Alberta. As the Turf Farm Manager, Tyler joined the team at Eagle Lake in 2006.

Kyle Redfern

Director of Turf, Soils & Commercial sales

 Born and raised in Perth, Kyle spent four years studying Horticulture, Turf Management in Western Australia. After completing his Apprenticeship, he and his wife moved to Calgary. Kyle joined the team at Eagle Lake Professional Landscape Supply in 2014.

Ellie Dashti  

Accounting and Office Manager

 Ellie brings over 10 years of experience in Accounting, Payroll, and Tax. Currently pursuing her CPA designation, she holds a BSc degree in Industrial Engineering and a financial management degree from Montreal.  She is passionate about continuous learning and improvement, contributing to her commitment to staying abreast of industry advancements.


Kia Simms

Sales Center Supervisor

Kia grew up in the local small town of Carseland and attended school both in
Carseland and Strathmore. After 10 years in technical sales all over Alberta,
she came back to Calgary to join Eagle Lake Professional Landscape Supply in 2021.

Melissa Miller

Accounting

Born and raised in the Strathmore area, Melissa brings 7 years of experience in Bookkeeping and Administration within the agricultural industry. She has held various other roles such as a logistics coordinator, grain merchant assistant, and warehouse manager. Melissa joined the team in 2024.

 

Tuck & Bagheera

Store Cats

Tuck (short for Kentucky Bluegrass) and Bagheera joined the Sales Center Team in 2021. They don't get much work done, but they don't get paid much either.
